Through this agreement, Kolon Global and the Central Regional Employment and Labor Office plan to create exemplary public-private joint cases such as △strengthening safety culture to prevent accidents and △eradicating wage arrears for construction site workers, and to spread these throughout the local community. They will prepare support measures for establishing safety and health management systems for partner companies and carry out safety culture activities such as the ‘Safety Golden Rule.’ Additionally, they will expand the separate payment of labor costs to all public and private ordered sites to help prevent wage arrears.

CEO Kim said, “Together with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, we will spare no effort and support to solve social issues directly related to the safety and livelihood of construction workers.”

Director Min said, “Through this agreement with Kolon Global, we expect to significantly reduce the problems of wage arrears and safety accidents that have recently been issues at construction sites,” adding, “We will work harder to ensure this spreads to other construction companies in the future.”

Meanwhile, Kolon Global has established an ‘Integrated Safety and Health Control Center’ at its Gwacheon headquarters, which monitors high-risk work in real time and plays a role in eliminating risk factors in advance. It also supports smart safety equipment at all sites to prevent worker safety accidents.
