26,000-Seat Arena Sold Out
BabyMonster successfully completed their first fan meeting in Japan.
The agency YG Entertainment announced that BabyMonster held ''BABYMONSTER PRESENTS : SEE YOU THERE' IN JAPAN' at Ariake Arena in Tokyo on the 11th and 12th.
They connected with local fans by filling all 20,000 seats prepared for the two days, plus an additional 6,000 seats opened due to fan requests, totaling 26,000 seats.
After the performance, major local media outlets such as Sankei Sports, Sponichi Annex, Nippon Television News, Oricon, and Rolling Stone Japan simultaneously reported on the fan meeting. They praised the members' skills as they delivered a perfect live performance holding handheld microphones, and conveyed the heated atmosphere as they communicated warmly with fans.
In particular, Sankei Sports caught attention with the headline "Monster Rookie BabyMonster Lands in Japan for the First Time!" and reported that "they thrilled the audience with monster-level performances." They also introduced the group's schedule as they officially kick off their activities in Japan, expressing high expectations for their future achievements.
Following the Japan fan meeting, BabyMonster will expand their global activities with a total of seven performances in five cities: Jakarta, Indonesia on June 8; Singapore on June 15; Taipei on June 23; and Bangkok, Thailand on June 29 and 30.
