High1 Resort was re-designated last month as an 'Excellent Wellness Tourism Destination' selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.
Lee Hak-joo, Director of the International Tourism Headquarters and Head of the Sports Tourism Activation Task Force at the Korea Tourism Organization, said, "Through this cooperation, we will develop attractive sports Korea travel products and wellness programs and create new demand from foreign tourists. Centered on the dedicated organization launched in March this year to activate sports tourism, we plan to expand cooperation with various institutions to establish a foundation for sports tourism."
