Safety Management Fields Including Construction Safety, Civil Engineering, and Architecture
Busan Urban Corporation (President Kim Yong-hak) is recruiting members for the "5th Busan Urban Corporation Safety Advisory Group" to secure expertise in disaster response and safety management tasks.
The open recruitment period is from the 16th to June 11th, with positions available in nine fields totaling 54 members: ▲Construction Safety 16 ▲Civil Engineering Structures 3 ▲Civil Engineering Construction 5 ▲Soil and Foundation 5 ▲Architectural Structures 5 ▲Architectural Construction 8 ▲Mechanical 3 ▲Electrical 4 ▲Firefighting 5.
Eligibility requirements include ▲university professors in safety-related departments or majors ▲those with professional engineer, supervisor certifications, or a doctoral degree in the relevant field with more than 5 years of practical experience ▲experts affiliated with safety-related non-profit organizations (associations, etc.) or safety management specialized institutions ▲and other professionals with relevant technical qualifications, academic knowledge, and practical experience.
Selected advisory group members will perform various safety and health activities over the next two years, including safety inspections and consultations for facilities and construction sites under the corporation’s jurisdiction, as well as education for corporation employees and site workers.
The advisory group plays a role in enhancing the professionalism and effectiveness of the corporation’s safety management by conducting safety inspections during disaster-prone periods such as thawing season, rainy season, heatwaves, typhoons, and holidays, checking the implementation status of measures to prevent recurrence of accidents, providing special education related to construction safety, and offering customized safety and health consulting.
