Song Hajung, Chairman of the Private School Teachers' Pension Service (Sahakyeongeum), participated in the plastic reduction campaign 'ByeBye Challenge.'
The 'ByeBye Challenge' is a pledge to reduce unnecessary plastic use in daily life. The campaign was launched by the Ministry of Environment in August last year.
Chairman Song Hajung joined the campaign after being nominated by Kim Donggeuk, Chairman of the Government Employees Pension Service. He recommended Yoon Byungtae, Mayor of Naju, as the next participant. Naju is where the Sahakyeongeum headquarters is located.
Chairman Song Hajung stated, "Through this campaign, all employees of the Service will lead the way toward carbon neutrality by reducing plastic use and practicing eco-friendly habits such as using tumblers and reusable shopping bags, starting with small lifestyle changes for a sustainable green future."
