As the candidate for the Speaker of the 22nd National Assembly in the first half narrows down to a two-way contest between 'Chu Mi-ae and Woo Won-shik,' former Blue House Senior Secretary for Political Affairs Choi Jae-sung predicted, "If Chu is elected as the Speaker, the conflict between Chu and Yoon will intensify."

On the 14th, former Secretary Choi mentioned during YTN Radio's 'News Fighting' the time when Chu and President Yoon were Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General, respectively, saying, "Because the presence of the President is underlying, if (Chu) becomes the Speaker and operates in an offensive, aggressive manner, the frequency and intensity of conflicts are likely to increase compared to the past." He added, "If Chu becomes the Speaker, President Yoon will not simply kneel down and let her do as she pleases. It will inevitably lead to a power struggle."

Former Secretary Choi referred to the special investigation laws on Special Prosecutor Chae Sang-byeong and First Lady Kim Geon-hee, stating, "They are all issues related to President Yoon." He explained, "The Yoon administration has been a joint spousal regime from the start. The public perceives that Mrs. Kim is different from other First Ladies," and added, "Even if Chu becomes the Speaker, it will be difficult for President Yoon not to exercise his veto power on the special investigation laws."

Meanwhile, former Secretary Choi explained the Democratic Party's concerns by referring to the past of Chu and President Yoon. He said, "During President Yoon's time as Prosecutor General, opinions within the prosecution were divided, but the disciplinary case against Chu united the public and the prosecution," adding, "'Anti-Chu Mi-ae' and 'No disciplinary action' voices grew louder. If (this time as well) aggressive politics are pursued like in the past, it will ultimately cause many problems and reach a dead end," expressing his worries.
