Local media including AP reported on the 13th (local time) that Scheffler arrived at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, where the PGA Championship, a major tournament on the PGA Tour, is being held, after welcoming his son Bennett on the 8th. Jon Rahm (Spain), ranked 5th in the world, congratulated Scheffler when they met at the putting practice area.


Scheffler is in his prime this year. He has participated in 10 tournaments and won an impressive 4 titles in major events including the Masters. He has finished in the top 10 nine times. In his last five tournaments, he recorded results of 'win-win-second place-win-win.' He leads overwhelmingly in wins, world ranking points (14.7116 points), prize money ranking ($18,693,235), FedEx Cup points (3915 points), and scoring average (68.743 strokes).


Scheffler did not participate in any tournaments after winning his fourth title of the season and tenth overall at the RBC Heritage on the 22nd of last month, as his wife's delivery was imminent. He aims to win his second major of the season at the PGA Championship starting on the 16th.
