On the 13th, President Yoon Suk-yeol held a dinner meeting with the new emergency committee members of the People Power Party, including Hwang Woo-yeo, the chairman of the emergency committee, at the Hannam-dong residence.

The presidential office spokesperson Kim Soo-kyung stated that the dinner was arranged to express gratitude to the party leadership who took on important responsibilities during the difficult period following the general election.

In a written briefing, Spokesperson Kim explained, "The People Power Party emergency committee held a dinner immediately after its official launch at the president's invitation because both the party and the government agreed that there are numerous pressing national issues, especially those related to people's livelihoods, and that the ruling party's active role is crucial to resolving these problems."

Throughout the dinner, President Yoon attentively listened to the party leadership's opinions and conveyed his intention to deeply consider the public sentiment reflected in the general election and actively incorporate it into state governance.

Chairman Hwang responded by pledging to manage party affairs, including preparations for the party convention, without any setbacks and to strengthen cooperation between the party and the government for smooth state administration.

Attending the dinner were People Power Party Chairman Hwang Woo-yeo, floor leader Choo Kyung-ho, emergency committee members Eom Tae-young, Yoo Sang-beom, Jeon Ju-hye, Kim Yong-tae, Policy Committee Chairman Jeong Jeom-sik, Secretary-General Seong Il-jong, Chief Deputy Floor Leader Bae Jun-young, and Secretary to Emergency Committee Chairwoman Cho Eun-hee.
