Dobong-gu Selects 6 Key Proactive Administration Tasks for Residents' Tangible Satisfaction
Establishment of Dong-Centered Civil Complaint Response System and 6 Policy Projects
Support Including Pre-Consulting, Exemption System, and Selection of Outstanding Proactive Public Officials
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) has selected the '2024 Dobong-gu Proactive Administration Key Tasks' to create proactive administrative achievements that residents can feel and be satisfied with.
The key tasks for proactive administration were selected through the Proactive Administration Committee (Personnel Committee) review, focusing on projects proposed by all departments in March that are expected to contribute to enhancing resident convenience and resolving inconveniences.
The selected key tasks consist of six policy projects: ▲ Establishing a community-centered civil complaint response system ▲ Launching the Dobong Now Act! Carbon Neutral DNA Project ▲ Attracting startup companies to Seed Cube Changdong and fostering a startup ecosystem ▲ Establishing an early detection support system for developmentally delayed infants and children in vulnerable groups ▲ Safe companionship with residents through the 'Mayor’s Safety Round' ▲ Operating the Small Business Manager System and Smart Innovation Support Group to support local small business management.
These projects will have their implementation performance regularly managed and receive various supports going forward.
If decision-making is difficult due to unclear laws or regulations during project implementation, counseling will be supported through a pre-consultation system. In cases where proactive administration leads to audits, the exemption protection officer will assist with exemption procedures and preparations. Additionally, outstanding proactive administrative officials will be selected and rewarded in the first and second halves of the year to encourage proactive administrative efforts.
Along with the selection of key tasks, the district office plans to conduct proactive administration training for employees to spread and establish a proactive administrative culture within the public service and to discover and share excellent cases of proactive administration.
Furthermore, Dobong-gu will systematically promote proactive administration by establishing an execution plan that includes strengthening preferential treatment, protection, and support for proactive administrative officials.
Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “The significant achievements in major projects promoted by the district were possible thanks to the efforts of employees working actively and proactively on the front lines,” and added, “The district will continue to select and manage key proactive administration tasks to create tangible results for residents and spread a culture of proactive administration within the organization.”
