Nowon-gu Hosts the 2nd Gyeongchun Line Gongneung Forest Trail Coffee Festival

Nowon-gu (Mayor Oh Seung-rok) announced on the 12th that it held the '2nd Gyeongchun Line Gongneung Forest Trail Coffee Festival.'

The event, originally scheduled for the 11th, was postponed due to rain and successfully held on the 12th under clear weather.

At the event, there were ▲ booths representing 18 coffee bean producing countries ▲ coffee culture experiences ▲ various experiences and attractions including major local cafes and dessert booths in Gongneung-dong,

along with diverse performances by singers Kim Ki-tae, Travel Sketch, and others.

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, said, “We expected many visitors, but we are grateful that even more people came to the coffee festival than anticipated,” adding, “The 2024 Gongneung Forest Trail Coffee Festival, now in its second year, was organized not only for residents but also to support nearby merchants who are struggling due to the sluggish economy.”

He continued, “We hope everyone creates joyful and happy memories through the upcoming performances and prepared booth programs,” and added, “We would also like to thank the nearby merchants once again for participating in the spirit of the festival.”
