Three People Fell into the Sea from an Aquaculture Management Vessel... Two Dead

Three crew members aboard a fish farm management vessel fell into the sea, resulting in an accident. Two of the individuals who fell died.

At around 1:20 p.m. on the 11th, the coast guard received a report that three people aboard a 1-ton fish farm management vessel had fallen into the sea near Sadong Port in Geumil-eup, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do.

They were rescued by another passing vessel, but two of them?a man in his 50s and a man in his 70s?died. The man in his 20s who was also rescued is reported to be in stable condition.

It was confirmed that a total of seven people, including workers who came to help with labor in the village, were aboard the management vessel. The coast guard is investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by questioning those who were on board.
