AI Spera's 'Criminal IP' Forms Technical Partnership with Quad9 [AI Spera Signs Technology Partnership with Swiss DNS Platform 'Quad9']

AI SPERA, a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) specialist company led by CEO Kang Byung-tak, announced on the 13th that it has signed a technical partnership to mutually exchange domain-based threat intelligence data with the Swiss DNS platform 'Quad9,' marking the first such partnership in the Asia region.

Quad9 is a free anycast DNS platform operated as a non-profit organization by the Swiss Quad9 Foundation, complying with Swiss data protection and GDPR regulations to enhance internet users' privacy and cybersecurity. In particular, Quad9's DNS threat blocking service identifies and blocks malicious hosts based on threat intelligence feeds provided by global TI companies such as IBM X-Force, OpenPhish, and RiskIQ, thereby preventing cyber threats like malware, phishing, spyware, and botnets targeting computers, mobile devices, and IoT devices.

AI SPERA is a domestic cybersecurity company that develops and services 'Criminal IP,' an IP address and domain-based threat intelligence search engine. After several months of data verification, its data uniqueness and high accuracy were recognized, leading to the data integration partnership with Quad9. Through API integration, the two companies share AI SPERA's domain threat information and Quad9's blocking data. This allows Quad9 to update domain threat information to protect end users, while AI SPERA can utilize the blocking (malicious) data aggregated from global TI companies to improve the accuracy of Criminal IP.

CEO Kang Byung-tak of AI SPERA stated, "The partnership with Quad9 is a result of the recognized data accuracy of Criminal IP," adding, "It will be an opportunity to contribute to protecting Quad9's end users, who have a global customer base, while enhancing the data quality of Criminal IP."

Meanwhile, AI SPERA's 'Criminal IP' is offered in various forms such as a search engine, API, and datasets, currently serving users in 150 countries. Recently, it completed registration of 'Criminal IP' in procurement services of Asian and European countries, expanding supply to domestic and international public institutions. Additionally, AI SPERA has launched the attack surface management solution 'Criminal IP ASM' and the anomalous user detection system 'Criminal IP FDS,' expanding its presence in the global security solutions market for enterprises and institutions. The company has also formed a global network through strategic partnerships with over 40 global cybersecurity firms, including Cisco, VirusTotal, Tenable, and Snowflake.
