[Breaking] Government: "Foreign doctors' medical practice is only a supplementary measure, no immediate deployment plan"

The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on the 10th that regarding the decision to allow foreign medical license holders to provide medical care in order to minimize the medical service gaps caused by the departure of residents, it is "to establish a basis for proactive and supplementary measures in preparation for any emergency." They added, "Although there are some inconveniences in the current medical field, the emergency medical system is being maintained without major disruption, so there are no immediate plans to deploy foreign doctors."
