Local Small Business Product Discount Event Held

The May Together Festival, a consumer celebration for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners, is revitalizing the local economy by linking with regional festivals held during Family Month.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that from the 10th to the 16th, in collaboration with Namwon City, a special discount event for local small business products will be held at Gwanghallu Garden and the shopping district.

This event, held alongside the 94th Namwon Chunhyang Festival, a representative regional festival of Korea, will feature over 200 small business vendors participating in sales of local small business products and discounted agricultural and livestock products.

Namwon City has operated small business participation booths for the first time this year through collaboration with the Together Festival to invigorate the local commercial district and provide various benefits to local merchants and festival visitors.

On the 10th, Oh Ki-woong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, visited the Namwon Chunhyang Festival venue and participated in the 'Wish Lantern Hanging' event with citizens, wishing for local economic development and job creation. Vice Minister Oh said, "I hope the Together Festival, in conjunction with regional festivals and events, becomes an opportunity to breathe new life into the local economy."
