Providing On-site Job Counseling Services for Job Search Convenience
Customized Employment Counseling at 3 Local Vocational Training Centers and Community Service Centers on a Rotating Basis
Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced on the 10th that it will operate an on-site job counseling service called the ‘Visiting Job Counseling Center’ to provide convenience for residents' job search activities.
The ‘Visiting Job Counseling Center’ is designed for residents who find it difficult to visit the Dongdaemun-gu Job Center due to time and location constraints or lack of information. It will be operated on a rotating basis at community service centers and three vocational training institutions within the district (Technical Training Center, Caregiver Training Center, Security Training Center) until November 20.
Residents visiting the Job Counseling Center will receive a one-stop service that includes customized employment counseling, job seeker registration, and provision of job vacancy information to facilitate employment connections. Additionally, various information related to vocational training programs will be introduced to help enhance the capabilities of residents seeking employment.
Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, stated, “We will continue to strive to provide various job-related services so that job seekers can find the jobs they want, and employers can quickly find employees with the necessary skills.”
Job seekers and employers can receive customized job information through one-on-one consultations with professional career counselors at the Job Center located on the first floor of Dongdaemun-gu Office, which operates year-round.
