50 Companies Participate in One-on-One Interviews with Job Seekers
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the '2024 Osan City Job Fair' at the Osan Osaek Culture and Sports Center on the 30th.
Co-hosted by Gyeonggi Province and Osan City, this event will be subtitled 'Gyeonggi Women JOB FESTA with Osan Job(JOB)kok,' featuring booths from 50 companies. Participating companies will conduct one-on-one interviews with job seekers along with promotional activities.
The event will also include various side events such as policy promotion, announcer interview speech training, image making, personal color diagnosis, free resume photo shoots, career fortune-telling with tarot cards, nail care, and healing lectures.
The city plans to produce and distribute company brochures in advance and hold an online recruitment briefing session. Local universities will also operate employment preparation programs such as 'Employment Success School' and the 'Corporate Analysis Competition.'
Major companies participating in the fair include Ewha Diamond Co., Ltd., Amorepacific, Wooshin Korean Folk Village Co., Ltd., Kyungdong Navien Co., Ltd., Appsfeel Co., Ltd., LK Engineering Co., Ltd., Encos Co., Ltd., Phil Energy, and Intercos Korea.
Job seekers wishing to participate in the fair can apply on-site as well as through prior registration. Detailed information can be found on the 'Osan City Job Center' blog.
Kim Byung-joo, head of the Osan City Regional Economy Division, said, "We plan to provide continuous follow-up support for unemployed job seekers who participated in the event to help them find employment as soon as possible."
