Sealy Bed Wins Korean Brand Consumer Evaluation Award for 'Furniture Quality' Two Years in a Row

Sealy Bed announced on the 9th that it has won the 2024 Korea Brand Consumer Evaluation Award for the second consecutive year.


Hosted by the Korea Brand Evaluation Committee, the 'Korea Brand Consumer Evaluation Award' identifies brands that lead trends in each category through consumer voting and have high consumer trust and satisfaction. Final selections are made through official evaluations by a panel of experts in each field.

Sealy Bed developed its proprietary spring system, 'Posturepedic,' in 1950 in collaboration with orthopedic doctors. The Posturepedic technology combines medical knowledge from specialists with Sealy's sleep research expertise to minimize back pain and provide firm support.


Sealy established the world's first Orthopedic Advisory Board (OAB) and developed a spinal alignment human model that has evolved from the 'Sealy Man' and 'Data Man' to the current 'Sam,' conducting over 70 years of research on proper sleep posture to create the mattress best suited for the human body.


Yoon Jong-hyo, CEO of Sealy Bed, stated, “Sealy Bed provides the best sleep environment with the Posturepedic spring system that evenly distributes the weight of the heaviest parts of the body for comfort, and has maintained the number one sales record in the mattress’s homeland, the United States. We will continue to strive to offer customers the best sleep experience and premium value.”


Meanwhile, Sealy Korea, which started its mattress business domestically in 2008, established a factory on a 55,000㎡ site in Yeoju in 2016, where it directly manufactures products including the premium line mattress Exquisite.
