Artificial intelligence (AI) company Saltlux announced on the 9th that it will simultaneously hold the 'Saltlux Artificial Intelligence Conference 2024 (SAC 2024)' on the 30th at Amoris Hall on the 1st floor of GS Tower, Nonhyeon-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and online.
Marking its 18th year, SAC has been a platform where Saltlux shares not only its innovative technologies and growth strategies but also global trends and utilization directions of AI technology. This year’s theme, "GenAI Odyssey - The Dawn of the Augmented Humanity Era," will share valuable insights on the changes that the augmentation of intellectual labor, initiated by the combination of generative AI and human intellectual capabilities, will bring about in the future.
Starting with the keynote speech "The Dawn of Augmented Humanity" by Saltlux CEO Kyungil Lee, the first session, "The Beginning of the AGI Journey," will reveal Saltlux’s vision and blueprint. Saltlux will introduce innovative solutions including the world’s first generative AI appliance "Lucia On," which allows users to experience the world of generative AI simply by equipping it, and the cognitive search service "Guver," launching simultaneously in the US and Korea, along with the next-generation model of its proprietary LLM "Lucia," called "Lucia2."
Saltlux’s Lucia is a model that ranked first worldwide among LLM models under 35B parameters on Hugging Face’s open LLM leaderboard and has already been utilized in building the Seoul Metro safety ChatGPT. Proof of concept (PoC) projects are underway with prominent companies. Expectations are high regarding the innovations achieved by "Lucia2," released about a year after the original Lucia1.
The following sessions will cover topics titled "Everyday in the Lives of 100 Million People" and "GenAI Technology from the Stars," showcasing a variety of innovative technologies and services from the group companies. These include Saltlux’s cognitive search solution "Search Studio," core technologies used in LucasAI’s cloud platform, Plunit’s AI agent app "Sonbiseo," AI employee service "Work Center," Daiquest’s AI search solution "Mariner5," and AI data analysis platform "DPlatform2," among others.
CEO Kyungil Lee stated, "As AI becomes commonplace across all industries, from distribution and finance to content, securing competitiveness and new growth engines through AI from a business perspective has become extremely important." He added, "In this rapidly changing era, we will provide insights on how companies and individuals can innovate the future and create sustainable value through generative AI."
