Dobong-gu Exhibits Representative Characters at District Office Plaza for Family Month in May
7m Tall Giant Eunbongi and Hakbongi Air Balloons Installed
Night Lighting from 7 to 10 PM Creates Fairy Tale Atmosphere
A 7-meter-tall giant character has appeared in the plaza of Dobong-gu Office. The characters are named Eunbongi and Hakbongi, the representative characters of Dobong-gu.
Eunbongi and Hakbongi, inspired by Dobong-gu's symbols 'Ginkgo tree' and 'Crane,' have gained nationwide popularity since their first unveiling in July last year, not only among Dobong-gu residents but also across the country.
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will exhibit the giant air balloons of Eunbongi and Hakbongi in the plaza of the district office throughout this month. From 7 PM to 10 PM, night lighting will create a fantastic fairy tale atmosphere.
To add to the fun of participation, a certification photo event will be held until May 12. If you upload a photo taken with the giant Eunbongi and Hakbongi on your personal SNS with hashtags (#DobongguCharacter #Eunbongi #Hakbongi), you will be entered into a draw to win a Eunbongi and Hakbongi keyring set.
