Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters Supports Urban Regeneration of Mun-dong Village in Gijang

New Employees Participate in Joint Social Contribution Activities

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Gwang-hoon) has contributed to the urban regeneration project of Mundong Village in Gijang-gun.


The Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters announced on the 8th that it participated in the joint social contribution activities for the urban regeneration of Mundong Village in Gijang-gun, jointly organized by the Social Contribution Information Center and Corporate Welfare Net.

Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters Supports Urban Regeneration of Mun-dong Village in Gijang Employees of the Kori Nuclear Power Plant participating in the Busan Gijang-gun Mundong Village urban regeneration joint social contribution activity are showing finger hearts.

The Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters sponsored 5 million won for this joint social contribution event, and 28 volunteer employees participated in activities such as exterior wall painting and beach environment cleanup to assist in the regeneration work of Mundong Village.


Twenty-four new employees from the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, who are currently undergoing training at the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Talent Development Institute, also participated in this activity. The new employees added energy to the event while feeling a sense of social responsibility and brightened the atmosphere by giving carnations to the village's elderly residents.


Jung Jae-rak, Director of External Cooperation at the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, “As an energy public enterprise representing the region, we will do our best to serve as a reliable partner that grows together with the community through continuous social contribution activities.”
