Gwangjin-gu to Recruit 306 for Seoul Donghaeng Jobs in Second Half...Qualification Requirements Relaxed

Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is recruiting 306 participants for the ‘2024 Second Half Seoul Donghaeng Job Project’ to support the economic independence of vulnerable groups.


This second half, the eligibility criteria have been relaxed to expand the target range. Among Gwangjin-gu residents aged 18 or older, those whose family combined assets are 499 million KRW or less can apply. Previously, those with 469 million KRW or less were eligible.


The recruitment sectors cover 33 projects in 5 fields: ▲Economic (18 people, welfare accompaniment assistants at community service centers, etc.) ▲Physical (56 people, school zone child traffic guidance projects, etc.) ▲Social Safety (75 people, street homeless counseling teams, etc.) ▲Digital (5 people, local safety environment management teams) ▲Climate and Environment (152 people, maintenance of resident rest areas, etc.).


The project period is from July 1 to December 20. Participants will be assigned to the district office or community service centers and work 3 to 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. The hourly wage is 9,860 KRW, with support for the four major insurances and weekly holiday allowance.


Those wishing to participate can apply in person at the community service centers from June 10 to 21. The selection results will be announced on June 24 after eligibility verification. For more details, please check the Gwangjin-gu Office website or contact the Job Youth Division.
