Passing the Baton to Successor Dong-A University President Lee Hae-woo
Shilla University announced on the 8th that President Heo Nam-sik participated in the talent donation challenge for the stable establishment of Neulbom School.
President Heo Nam-sik, nominated by President Ryu Dong-geun of the Korea Maritime and Ocean University, participated as a donor in the ‘1st Grade Neulbom Program Talent Donation Challenge’ and conducted a ‘Water Environment Protection Project’ class for 1st-grade students at Mosan Elementary School.
On this day, President Heo and the Shilla University faculty held a session to teach the importance of the water environment using marimo and aquatic companion plants as subjects, including ▲ learning about marimo ▲ ways to reduce water pollution ▲ making a marimo aquarium ▲ meeting aquatic companion plants ▲ realizing the importance of companion plants and environmental protection.
President Heo said, “I hope today’s class will serve as an opportunity for children to practice environmental protection in their daily lives,” and added, “We will spare no support from the university to ensure that the Busan-style Neulbom School is established early and provides children with diverse and interesting education.”

Heo Nam-sik, president of Silla University, is participating as a one-day teacher at Neulbom School for first-grade students at Mosan Elementary School.
