Ministry of Science and ICT Confirms 55 General Civil Servants for Space Aviation Agency Positions

The Ministry of Science and ICT announced that 55 general civil servant personnel who will work at the Space Aviation Agency, which will open on the 27th in Sacheon, Gyeongsangnam-do, have been finalized.

On the 7th, the Ministry of Science and ICT stated in a briefing material, "The transfer list of Ministry of Science and ICT civil servants to the Space Aviation Agency has been finalized, and personnel appointments are scheduled for the opening day on the 27th." The 55 personnel are general civil servants at the manager level or below, and the Space Aviation Agency Establishment Promotion Team explained that three personnel transferring from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy have also been finalized.

The Ministry of Science and ICT explained that these personnel currently work in departments related to space aviation.

Within the Ministry of Science and ICT, 8 out of 9 section and team leaders currently in charge of the space aviation field at the Space Aviation Agency Establishment Promotion Team and the Office of Large Public Research Policy will transfer to the Space Aviation Agency.

The Ministry of Science and ICT added that the three personnel transferring from the Korea Post to the Space Aviation Agency possess expertise in building management, contracts, and budgeting, and have already been working in the Promotion Team since January.
