Over 60 Dobong-gu Senior Officials Pledge Commitment to Integrity Practice

About 60 senior officials of Dobong-gu gathered in one place. They read aloud the "Pledge for Integrity Practice" in unison.

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) held an Integrity Practice Pledge Meeting on the 7th at the Ssiar Hall of Dobong-gu Office.

This pledge meeting was organized to actively announce Dobong-gu's commitment to practicing integrity both internally and externally and to foster a culture of integrity within the public service.

On this day, more than 60 senior officials at grade 5 or higher signed the Integrity Practice Pledge and, following Mayor Oh Eon-seok's reading of the pledge statement, read the Integrity Practice Pledge together.

The Integrity Practice Pledge included ▲ compliance with laws and principles, realization of an honest public service ▲ prioritizing public interest ▲ prohibition of abuse of authority, involvement in vested interests, mediation, and solicitation ▲ prohibition of receiving money or entertainment and other actions that could raise doubts about integrity ▲ and fair execution of duties.

After the Integrity Practice Pledge, a professional instructor from the Integrity Training Center conducted an integrity education session. The training covered the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, cases related to the prohibition of receiving money under the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, and qualities required as a leader.

Mayor Oh Eon-seok of Dobong-gu said, "We will strive to ensure that the pledge for integrity practice does not remain a mere resolution but leads to actions and implementation," adding, "Starting from today, we will spread a culture of integrity within the region and build a Dobong-gu trusted by its residents."

Meanwhile, this year, the district has set four major strategies to create an honest Dobong-gu: ▲ strengthening the institutional foundation for anti-corruption and integrity promotion ▲ establishing an anti-corruption and integrity culture ▲ inspecting and supplementing corruption-prone areas ▲ communicating with residents and spreading a culture of integrity together, and is carrying out 20 detailed implementation tasks.
