Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) announced on the 7th that it will hold a 'Job Matching Day' where companies and job seekers conduct on-site interviews for recruitment at the Job Center on the 9th.
'Job Matching Day' is an on-site interview program held throughout the year to simultaneously resolve labor shortages and employment difficulties. The on-site interview on this day is for hiring managers to handle in-flight meal carts.
Samgu I&C, a specialized outsourcing company, will participate and hire seven managers. The work schedule is five days a week with two shifts (6 AM to 2 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM), responsible for transporting, organizing, and managing in-flight meal carts.
Employees will work at Incheon Airport and can use shuttle buses departing from Dangsan Station, Mok-dong, Bucheon, and other locations. Transportation expenses are supported for those using private cars or public transportation.
The interview will be held at 2 PM on the 9th on the 4th floor of the Gangseo-gu Job Center and is open to all residents of Gangseo-gu. Applicants can pre-register by visiting, email, or fax until the day before the interview. The district will notify registered job seekers who meet the hiring conditions via text message or phone call in advance. On-site registration on the day is also possible.
Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "We will do our best to expand on-site interview opportunities for various occupations and provide quality employment information."
Meanwhile, more than half of the participants in last month's Job Matching Day for hiring housekeepers were hired on the day.
