BNK Busan Bank Holds 'BNK BooK Bank' Book Exchange Event

On the 5th, Outdoor Plaza of Cinema Center on Children's Day

Encouraging Citizen Reading Habits... 21st Year of the Event This Year

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) held the citizen-wide book exchange event "BNK BooK Bank" on May 5th at the outdoor plaza of the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu to celebrate Children's Day.

On the 5th, BNK Busan Bank held the 'BNK BooK Bank' book exchange event.

The "Book Exchange Event" is a citizen reading promotion event that has been held for 21 years. It featured around 1,000 exchange books, including the books selected for the "2024 One Book One Busan" campaign.

At this book exchange event, participants could exchange three read books for one new book. Additionally, participants who donated more than 5,000 KRW to support underprivileged families with newborns received one new book. The first 600 participants also received a sprout pot kit. The funds raised on this day will be delivered to underprivileged families with newborns through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.

Kang Seok-rae, Head of Management Strategy at Busan Bank, said, “On this meaningful Children's Day, we hope this book exchange event provides an opportunity to enjoy reading.” He added, “Busan Bank will continue to carry out social contribution activities with ongoing interest for children who will lead the future.”
