CU announced on the 8th that it will launch the lowest alcohol content alcoholic beverage in Korea, a '1.5% beer (355ml).' The price is 3,500 won. The company explained that this product uses a method that lowers the alcohol content and enhances the hop aroma in the final manufacturing stage, achieving the original taste and flavor of beer despite the low alcohol content. The package reflects the low alcohol content characteristic of the product with a webtoon concept expressing "If you buy this product, you can drink a lot and become a heavy drinker." CU will also hold a discount event throughout this month where customers can purchase 4 cans for 9,000 won.

Shinsegae International announced that the Italian top luxury brand 'Brunello Cucinelli' will launch a perfume collection embodying the brand's heritage in the domestic market for the first time this month. Brunello Cucinelli is a luxury brand renowned worldwide for its craftsmanship and high-quality, premium cashmere materials. The newly launched perfumes are two types of 'Eau de Parfum.' Inspired by the beautiful nature of the Umbria region in central Italy where the brand originated, the perfumes feature a comfortable yet luxurious scent that pairs well with cashmere clothing, the company explained. The perfume bottles use Italy's finest glass bottles, and aluminum materials in brand-representative colors such as brown and silver are applied to the caps and bottle bottoms to express a luxurious and sophisticated sensibility. The price is 280,000 won for 100ml and 196,000 won for 50ml.



Golden Blue Celebrates 2nd Anniversary of 'Nomad Outland Whiskey'

Golden Blue International announced that its blended whiskey 'Nomad Outland Whiskey' is celebrating its 2nd anniversary since its domestic launch. Nomad is a sherry-finished whiskey with a sweet sherry flavor. It is a blend of more than 30 malt and grain whiskeys aged for at least six years at distilleries in Scotland's Highlands and Speyside. It features rich sherry notes along with elegant and complex flavors of vanilla and dried fruits. Since March 2022, Golden Blue International has held an exclusive import contract with Spain's Gonzalez Byass and distributes the product domestically.

Lotte Chilsung Beverage is launching 'Gatorade Zero,' a low-calorie version of the sports drink Gatorade. The product maintains Gatorade's refreshing lemon-lime scent while reducing calories and sugar. Unlike the original Gatorade, it features a white package that adds a light and refreshing image. The new product will be available in 600ml PET bottles and can be found at convenience stores, large supermarkets, Lotte Chilsung Beverage’s official online mall 'Chilsung Mall,' and other online retailers.

Haitai Ice announced the launch of a new product, 'SsangSsangBar Caramel.' The new product is a premium ice bar version of Haitai Ice’s representative brand SsangSsangBar. It uses a rich caramel mix to provide a smooth flavor, and adds sugar-coated almonds to deliver both a savory taste and nuttiness, the company explained. The product packaging design, which harmonizes gold and brown colors, includes the phrase 'Superior' to emphasize its luxury.
