For this inspection, the city and district health departments will form inspection teams and, if necessary, conduct joint inspections with related departments such as the police and fire services.

The main inspection items include ▲unregistered operations running lodging businesses without business registration ▲hygiene and cleanliness management within lodging facilities ▲illegal extensions or irregular operations of business facilities ▲violations of business operators' compliance with the Public Health Control Act, among others.

Additionally, in preparation for the National Sports Festival held in the second half of the year, the city will promote courteous service to tourists and the eradication of overcharging.

Son Gil-kwang, Director of the Health and Hygiene Division, said, “Although inspections of illegal lodging operations are conducted annually, this year, with the National Sports Festival being held, we will do our best to make Changwon a city that visitors want to return to through thorough inspections and promotional activities.”
