The MZ generation (born between the 1980s and 2000s) identified Samsung Electronics, SK Telecom, and Naver as the leading artificial intelligence (AI) companies in South Korea.

According to JobPlanet, a corporate information platform, a survey of 947 MZ generation respondents revealed these results on June 6. Samsung Electronics, SK Telecom, and Naver ranked within the top three, followed by Kakao, Hyundai Motor Company, LG Electronics, Doosan Robotics, KT, POSCO, and Hanwha Systems.

When asked about their interest in AI, 70.7% of respondents said they were quite interested. Only 0.4% expressed no interest, confirming a high level of enthusiasm for AI, JobPlanet explained.

Kim Ji-ye, Director at JobPlanet, analyzed, "Since all companies are putting their lifeblood into AI technology, it appears that the top 10 are all large corporations. Especially the top three are experiencing explosive technological growth and expansion, enhancing their competitiveness in the global market. These are the companies we should pay attention to as the second round of AI begins."
