[Tomorrow's Weather] Mostly Cloudy and Rainy Nationwide on Children's Day

On Children's Day, the 5th, the whole country is expected to be mostly cloudy with rain.


Rain will begin on the west coast from dawn, expanding to the central region including Seoul (except Gangwon Yeongdong), Jeolla region, and western Gyeongsang from the morning, spreading nationwide by the forenoon. Some inland areas of the central region and North Jeolla may experience raindrops less than 0.1mm at dawn.


Expected precipitation on the 5th and 6th is 30 to 80mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, the five West Sea islands, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang, and northern inland North Gyeongsang (with more than 100mm in northern Gyeonggi and northern inland Gangwon), 20 to 60mm in North Chungcheong, Daegu, North Gyeongsang (excluding northern inland), Ulleungdo and Dokdo, 50 to 150mm in Jeju Island (excluding northern part, with more than 200mm in some areas), and 20 to 60mm in northern Jeju Island.

The lowest temperatures are forecasted to be between 14 and 19℃, and the highest daytime temperatures between 17 and 22℃. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' across all regions.


Dense fog is expected in most maritime areas, so caution is advised for maritime safety accidents. Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.5m in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 3.0m in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 3.5m in the South Sea coastal waters.


Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 3.5m in the East Sea, 0.5 to 4.0m in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 4.0m in the South Sea.
