A is accused of driving his car into a group of five people in a restaurant parking lot in Ulsan at around 3:20 a.m. on the 22nd of last month. CCTV footage shows A’s vehicle suddenly crossing the road and pushing into the parking lot, causing the group standing on the sidewalk in front of the parking lot fence to scatter in surprise. The vehicle then broke through the parking lot fence. As a result, the victims sustained injuries such as rib fractures and sprains.
Investigations revealed that A and the group were seniors and juniors from the same neighborhood who had been drinking together that day. They got into a dispute over pride while arm wrestling, which escalated into a physical fight. It was found that A drove the car in a fit of anger. Additionally, B, who won the arm wrestling match, was reportedly listed as a target for organized crime management by the Ulsan police.
Meanwhile, the police have filed assault charges against B and C, who were involved in the violent altercation.
