Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Attends Saemaeul Disinfection Volunteer Corps Launch Ceremony

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the '2024 Saemaeul Disinfection Volunteer Corps Launch Ceremony' held at Mangwon Yusuji Sports Park on the 3rd.

The Saemaeul Disinfection Volunteer Corps is a local organization that carries out disinfection services at infectious virus outbreak sites and pest control to protect community health.

The launch ceremony, hosted by the Saemaeul Leaders Mapo District Council, was attended by about 100 people, including the head of the Saemaeul Movement Mapo District Branch, the chairman of the Saemaeul Leaders Mapo District Council, and autonomous disinfection team leaders from each neighborhood.

On this day, Mayor Park Gang-su delivered an encouragement speech to the members and took time to personally demonstrate the disinfection equipment.

Mayor Park Gang-su said, "I sincerely thank the Saemaeul leaders who have joined together from early morning for village disinfection and who always strive to protect the safety and health of residents," adding, "Mapo District will spare no support to ensure that the activities of the Saemaeul Disinfection Volunteer Corps proceed without inconvenience."
