Long-term Project for Accompanying Childcare of Children Under 1 Year Old

The National Health Insurance Service Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters held a meeting on the 2nd at Busan City Hall to support vulnerable groups in the local community, attended by about 10 people including the Deputy Mayor of Busan and heads of social welfare facilities, and held a social contribution fund delivery ceremony.

National Health Insurance Service Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Headquarters Implements Health Insurance Social Contribution 'Haneul Band-Aid Kids' Project The National Health Insurance Service is holding a meeting at Busan City Hall to support vulnerable groups in the local community.

The funds delivered by the Service will be used to support education and medical assistance for at-risk youth outside of school and home, purchase vehicles for the Hospital Safety Companion Service for citizens who have difficulty using hospitals, and education expenses for vulnerable groups wishing to engage in self-support work.


Additionally, starting in May, the Service will launch the "Health Insurance Social Contribution Sky Bandage Kids" project, a long-term caregiving accompaniment project that continuously supports children under the age of 1 admitted to protective facilities nationwide until they reach adulthood (age 18).


Choi Deok-geun, the head of the regional headquarters, said, “Going forward, through the ‘Health Insurance Social Contribution Sky Bandage Kids’ project, the Service will play an active sponsor role rather than simple support, communicate and cooperate with the local community, and continuously strive to be a Service that is always with the people.”
