About 700 senior officials and employees reaffirmed their commitment to practicing integrity based on mutual respect and consideration to prevent gapjil.

Following this, Lee Seon-jung, a lecturer on integrity from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, was invited to educate employees on the code of conduct for preventing gapjil and raising awareness of integrity.

The session focused on Gumi City's cases regarding the prohibition of private labor demands and unfair acts of authority, emphasizing key issues to enhance employees' empathy and understanding. It also addressed the perspective differences between the older generation and the MZ generation, providing an opportunity for a shift in awareness.

Mayor Kim Jang-ho urged, “For a clean and horizontal organizational culture, I hope department heads improve their awareness and all employees cultivate a mindset of mutual respect. Furthermore, I ask everyone to do their best in fair and transparent work processing.”
