National Honam Biological Resources Center, Exhibition of Bio-Enterprise Products Utilizing Biological Resources

Driving Regional Economic Revitalization through Collaboration with Local Bio Companies

The National Honam Biosource Center under the Ministry of Environment (Director Ryu Tae-cheol) announced on the 3rd that it will exhibit 14 products made by local bio companies using biological resources in its permanent exhibition hall.


The permanent exhibition of bio products was established to promote the growth of the bio industry, thereby revitalizing the local economy and driving income generation for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Kim Hye-young, CEO of Nature Medics Co., Ltd., whose product was selected through a prior application process, expressed her gratitude, saying, “We appreciate the opportunity to showcase products made from Jeonnam figs to consumers through the resource center’s permanent exhibition hall.”


This exhibition is expected to enhance visitors’ awareness of the value of biological resources and serve as an effective channel for small and medium bio companies facing difficulties in promoting their products.


Choi Kyung-min, Head of Industrialization Support Office at the National Honam Biosource Center, said, “It is meaningful to provide an opportunity to widely promote products made using effective biological resources to the public,” adding, “We will continue to discover and support related projects to help revitalize the local economy.”
