This service aims to promote the mutual development of the old downtown area of Byeongjeom and Byeongjeom New Town and to improve the transfer system of various connected transportation facilities such as railroads, buses, the Dongtan Urban Railway (planned), and the Seoul Metropolitan Area Great Express Railway (GTX) Line C (planned). The service includes financial feasibility analysis and feasibility evaluation for the introduction of private commercial facilities, as well as a development plan.

About 30 people attended the report meeting, including Hwaseong Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun, provincial and city council members, and key city officials. The final report on the feasibility evaluation and development plan for the Byeongjeom Station complex transfer center was presented, including the major campaign pledge of the 8th local government administration, 'Undergrounding the entire section of Line 1 within Hwaseong City and constructing a complex transfer center.'

Based on the results of this service, the city plans to propose changing Byeongjeom Station from the current transfer center to a complex transfer center in the '5th Metropolitan Area Wide-area Transportation Implementation Plan (2026?2030)' and the '4th Basic Plan for Transfer Centers and Complex Transfer Centers Construction (2026?2030).' If the plan is adopted, the city intends to proceed with ▲designation of the complex transfer center ▲public contest for project implementer ▲establishment of the development implementation plan, and then begin full-scale construction.

Mayor Jeong said, "We will do our best to ensure that Byeongjeom Station firmly establishes itself as a transportation hub in the southern part of Gyeonggi Province."
