Wity Co., Ltd., which provides various information such as support projects for startups through the KNOWHOW platform, and Gongmyeong Partners Co., Ltd., which operates the Gongmyeongjeon IR program, jointly planned the Startup Yeongojeon (Goyeonjeon).
Startup Yeongojeon (Goyeonjeon) is an IR program involving entrepreneurs who graduated from Yonsei University and Korea University. It targets startups with a pre-money valuation of 5 billion KRW or less, and startup teams seeking angel investment or Pre-Series A round funding are expected to participate.
Startup Yeongojeon (Goyeonjeon) is an investment attraction program based on the Gongmyeongjeon model. Entrepreneurs participating in the program will communicate with about 600 individual and institutional investors over two months to introduce their businesses. Unlike startup demo days that conclude in one day, this program features continuous communication through online and offline activities, allowing investors to gain a deeper understanding of the business. Entrepreneurs may also find investors or investment firms suitable for their startups through interactions with various investors participating in the program.
Sim Jihoon, CEO of Wity Co., Ltd., who planned Startup Yeongojeon (Goyeonjeon), said, “We are preparing so that capable early-stage startups can grow together through competition and that all teams can seize meaningful opportunities during the program process regardless of the final results. The Knowhow team will do its best to lay the foundation for the growth of participating startups.”
Startup Yeongojeon (Goyeonjeon) will be held in June and is a program open to general investors interested in startup investment.
