Hyundai Motor Company and Kia are conducting a customized training program to nurture and recruit software (SW) talent.
Hyundai Motor Company and Kia announced on the 2nd that they are recruiting participants for the recruitment-linked training program "Softier Bootcamp 2024" until the 20th of this month.
Softier is a compound word of Software and Engineer, and Hyundai Motor Company and Kia will select a total of 85 people in five fields: ▲web backend ▲web frontend ▲service planning ▲design ▲data engineering. The data engineering field has been added for the first time this year.
The recruitment target is graduates from domestic and overseas universities as of February this year and those expected to graduate next year. Applications can be submitted through the official website.
Hyundai Motor Company and Kia plan to select candidates with basic coding skills and fundamental software knowledge through an online evaluation without a separate interview. The selected candidates will participate in an 8-week training program starting from July 1.
Participants will carry out team projects after one month of theoretical education. The 4th program this time is structured to strengthen the proportion of cross-job collaboration projects so that participants can learn the development work procedures performed in actual workplaces. In addition, opportunities are provided to meet developers currently working at Hyundai Motor Company and Kia to understand the work and receive career counseling.
The program is completely free of charge. Trainees will be provided with high-spec laptops and developer tools necessary for the training. Outstanding graduates can also receive separate awards.
Hyundai Motor Company and Kia offer new hire recruitment-linked benefits to Softier Bootcamp participants. Graduates are given the opportunity to join Hyundai Motor Company and Kia IT positions through evaluation of the training course and final interview without a separate document screening process.
