The 52nd Coming-of-Age Day... Eunpyeong-gu Hosts 'Hello, Seumosal' Event

Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced plans to accept applications for the ‘Hello, Twenty’ congratulatory cards to celebrate those born in 2005 who have turned twenty in honor of the 52nd Coming-of-Age Day.

‘Coming-of-Age Day’ is an annual commemorative day designated on the third Monday of May to instill pride as adults who have turned twenty and to awaken a sense of responsibility.

Anyone in the family can apply for the Coming-of-Age Day congratulatory card. After applying, the card will be received by mail and can be personally delivered to the family member who has come of age.

To participate, visit one of Eunpyeong-gu’s SNS platforms (blog, Facebook, Instagram) by May 9, click on the Coming-of-Age Day congratulatory card application event post, and submit the application form via the QR code.

The congratulatory card includes the message: “A spring of youth more brilliant than ever, unfold the dreams you have cherished until now. Eunpyeong will remain your unwavering supporter.”

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “We support the shining first steps of those born in 2005 who have come of age,” adding, “We also plan to celebrate in various ways, including hanging congratulatory banners for Coming-of-Age Day and hosting events that our new adults in the district can participate in.”
