Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) is conducting a ‘Transparent PET Bottle and Waste Vinyl Separate Disposal Participation Certification Event’ to secure high-quality recyclable resources.

This event, which runs until June 28, is open to all Dongdaemun-gu residents, and the first 100 participants will receive ten 10ℓ volume-based waste bags.

To participate, find the promotional material for the designated days for disposing of transparent PET bottles and waste vinyl, take a photo, or access the QR code on the poster to capture the day’s guide. Then, take four photos certifying participation in the separate disposal day system for transparent PET bottles and waste vinyl over one month, and send a total of five photos to the email of the Cleaning Administration Department officer. Those who have difficulty sending emails digitally can visit the Cleaning Administration Department on the 3rd floor of the district office.

Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, stated, “This event was planned to encourage more residents to take an interest in and participate in resource recycling,” adding, “We will continue to take steps toward realizing a ‘2050 Carbon Neutral City’ through revitalizing recycling and reducing household waste.”
