Production of Population Policy Guide in 8 Areas
Yeongcheon City in Gyeongbuk has published the "Wise Yeongcheon Life Guidebook," which contains customized support policies tailored to each life cycle stage.
The population policy guidebook, based on projects implemented as of early April, covers eight areas: ▲ Moving-in support ▲ Marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, multiple children, hospitals and clinics ▲ Childcare and education ▲ Enterprises, youth, and jobs ▲ Senior welfare and veterans ▲ Returning to farming and rural areas ▲ Where to go (Yeongcheon tourism map, Yeongcheon’s 9 scenic spots, Bohyeonsan Natural Recreation Forest) ▲ Useful information (school facilities, cultural and educational facilities, hospital and clinic facilities, discount stores for pregnant women and military personnel, etc.), allowing users to find necessary information at a glance.
The published guidebook is designed to be easy to understand, introducing support projects by life cycle stage along with detailed information on eligibility, support contents, application methods, and contact information for each project.
It is available at all departments including the City Hall General Civil Affairs Division, which citizens frequently visit, as well as at town, township, and neighborhood administrative welfare centers and major tourist sites. It can also be accessed on the Yeongcheon City website.
Mayor Choi Ki-moon stated, “The guidebook comprehensively contains population policy support projects, making it easy for individuals to find policies suited to them. We will continue to establish citizen-tailored population policies so that citizens can enjoy various benefits.”
