Five Organizations United... Gyeongbuk TP Signs Agreement to Foster 'Gyeongbuk Region Bioindustry' Development

Linkage with Hempeu Regulatory Free Zone in Northern Gyeongbuk Region

Gyeongbuk Technopark held a business agreement and a seminar to revitalize research equipment for fostering the bioindustry in the Gyeongbuk region on the 26th of last month.

This event was organized with the purpose of revitalizing the underdeveloped northern Gyeongbuk area by linking it with the hemp regulatory free zone and promoting the bioindustry and activation of research equipment.

Gyeongbuk Technopark held a business agreement for fostering the bioindustry in the Gyeongbuk region and a seminar to promote research equipment activation on the 26th of last month.

Attending the business agreement signing ceremony were Jeong Jin-hwan, Head of Corporate Support at Gyeongbuk TP, Lim Woo-taek, Director of the National Andong University, Jeon Ik-jo, Director of the Gyeongbuk Bioindustry Research Institute, Hong Seong-mu, Director of Daitec Research Institute, and Jang Jong-won, Director of the Gyeongbuk Regional Industry Promotion Agency.

Through the business agreement, the five institutions agreed to mutually cooperate in ▲various information exchanges to promote mutual understanding and cooperation ▲academic and research activities and corporate support related to research and development and industrialization based on the demand of hemp and bioindustry companies ▲exchange of professional personnel and joint research ▲mutual cooperation for the utilization of various research and analysis equipment and facilities.

Ha In-seong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, said, “I hope that this business agreement signing will serve as an opportunity to contribute to sustainable agricultural innovation and further the development of regional industrial competitiveness.”
