Department of Architectural Engineering at Dongmyeong University, Freshmen Do-ing Field Experience Learning

The Department of Architectural Engineering at Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) successfully completed a total of seven immersive Do-ing field experience classes for freshmen over two months, utilizing Saturdays in March and April.

On April 27, the final class visited the Daeyeon 3 District DIEL Apartment construction site.

Park Juhyun, a representative who was among the 16 nationwide passers of the Architectural Construction Technology Engineer exam, and Lieutenant Colonel Lee Eun-jin, the first active-duty officer in the Air Force to hold the rank of field-grade officer in the engineering specialty and a successful alumnus of Dongmyung University's Department of Architectural Engineering, shared special field knowledge and success know-how that are difficult to acquire on-site with the juniors.

Professor Lim Nam-gi emphasized, “Understanding the essence of architectural engineering will greatly help in deciding future career paths,” adding, “The satisfaction level of participating students was very high, so we will plan the program better next year to enhance its completeness.”
