Cancer-stricken British Crown Princess Reveals Unreleased Wedding Photos on 13th Anniversary

Crown Princess Revealed to Have Battled Cancer Last Month

Prince William of the United Kingdom and Catherine, Princess of Wales, celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary by releasing previously unseen wedding photos.

On the 29th (local time), according to the British daily The Telegraph, the royal couple shared a black-and-white photo on their official social media accounts with the caption "13 years ago today."

The photo shows the prince in uniform standing behind the princess in a dress, posing together. It was taken by their favorite photographer, Millie Pilkington.

Last month, Princess Catherine revealed in a video message that she had been battling cancer. After undergoing abdominal surgery and being hospitalized in January, she refrained from official duties, which sparked rumors about her condition and marital discord. She then publicly disclosed her illness. At that time, the princess requested privacy to focus on treatment and recovery.

Prince William and Princess Catherine first met at the University of St Andrews in Scotland and married in 2011 after eight years of courtship. They welcomed their first son, Prince George, in 2013, followed by Princess Charlotte in 2015, and Prince Louis in 2018.

Meanwhile, King Charles III of the United Kingdom, who disclosed his cancer diagnosis in February, plans to return to public duties after three months. Buckingham Palace has not provided detailed information about King Charles III's condition but announced that his health has improved enough for him to resume many external engagements. King Charles III is scheduled to welcome Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan on a state visit to the UK in June.
