According to the county on the 30th, The Gambia is a country located on the southern coast of Africa, where crops in coastal plains suffer great difficulties due to salt damage caused by seawater.

Despite numerous aid projects, The Gambia has failed in water management technology. It attended the ‘Africa K-rise Belt Project Stakeholders Invitation Workshop’ promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Rural Development Administration, requesting Korean water management technology.

A Rural Development Administration official introduced Sinan County, which efficiently operates small-scale water management facilities in island areas, leading to the visit of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of The Gambia to Sinan County.

Deputy Minister Mod Secka and his delegation toured agricultural reservoirs and related facilities in Sinan County and were deeply impressed. He said, “The Gambia hopes to introduce similar storage facilities and auxiliary facilities such as agricultural waterways and reflect them in policy.”
