Jeon Bonhee, Kocca Auditor, Obtains 'Internal Audit Professional Certification'

Other Public Institutions Obtain CIA Certification for the First Time
"Audit Must Change for Administration to Improve... We Will Create a Model Case"

Jeon Bon-hee, Standing Auditor of the Korea Creative Content Agency, became the first auditor from other public institutions to obtain the 'Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)' designation. This is the world's only internal audit professional certification accredited by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He was recognized for his expertise not only in audit theory and practice but also in management, accounting, information technology, and information security. This is the first time a current standing auditor at other public institutions has acquired this certification while in office.

Auditor Jeon stated, "Since audits must change for administration to improve, it is important to elevate related competencies to an international level," adding, "As the Korea Creative Content Agency oversees the domestic content industry, I will strive to create various best practices."

Auditor Jeon has long made various efforts to foster a proactive audit culture and expand management transparency. He was the first in Korea to introduce a pre-consulting audit system, for which he received a presidential citation. He has also served as a specialized instructor on integrity for the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and as an active administration instructor for the Ministry of Personnel Management, leading efforts to build anti-corruption and horizontal organizational cultures.

Based on Auditor Jeon's expertise, the Korea Creative Content Agency plans to enhance the professionalism and quality of its internal audits. It also aims to revitalize CIA study clubs to become a trusted, specialized, and independent internal audit organization.
