To promote a work-family balance culture, substitute contract employees will be hired for those on parental leave, with a scale of 10 people in one field: general management and ICT project management.

Additionally, to strengthen youth employment capabilities through job experience, experiential youth interns will be recruited, with a scale of 20 people.

NIA applies a blind recruitment method to ensure fair and non-discriminatory talent selection, and throughout all stages of the process, evaluates the ability and competence to solve social issues through ICT, which is the agency’s mission, focusing on job competency. Furthermore, to verify the fairness of the recruitment, after all stages are completed, the Fair Recruitment Verification Committee will review the entire process.

The recruitment announcement will be made by May 13, and applications will be accepted starting May 6.

For regular and indefinite-term contract positions, candidates will go through document screening, written tests, and first and second interview stages, while substitute contract employees for parental leave and experiential youth interns will be appointed after document screening and interviews.

Hwang Jong-seong, President of NIA, said, “We are recruiting talent to lead national policy and build the strongest AI (Artificial Intelligence) powerhouse together,” adding, “We will create a working environment where AI experts can grow and contribute to the nation and regional industries.”
