Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Signs MOUs with Over 10 AI Companies to Expand Overseas Internships and Industry-Academia Exchanges

The AI Education Center SW-Centered University Project Group at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies announced on the 30th that it has signed industry-academia cooperation agreements (MOU) with over 10 AI companies, including HUTECH, Tech Valley, and The Ventures.

Through this agreement, HUFS will operate various programs such as overseas internships, industry-academia project experiences, and technical English education.

Additionally, the project group conducted overseas training programs to enhance global capabilities in AI and software fields by collaborating with major Asian IT companies such as Google in Singapore and VNG in Vietnam. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on each company's strategic direction and market outlook.

Students from the Department of Computer Engineering and the Department of Information and Communication who participated in the program are expected to benefit from practical business and technical insights, helping to strengthen their competitiveness in the future global business environment.

Kim Nak-hyun, Director of the AI Education Center at HUFS, said, “This program provided a valuable opportunity for students and businesspeople to develop adaptability to international business and technological environments,” adding, “We plan to continue strengthening global business and technological leadership through industry-academia exchange programs.”
