Seong Hoeyong, CEO of Taekwang Industrial, Joins Drug Eradication Campaign 'No Exit'

Taekwang Group's textile and petrochemical affiliate, Taekwang Industrial, announced on the 30th that CEO Sung Hoe-yong has joined the 'NO EXIT' campaign to eradicate drugs.

The NO EXIT campaign is a nationwide relay campaign jointly conducted by the National Police Agency and the Korea Anti-Drug Movement Headquarters to raise awareness about drug addiction and prevent drug crimes. It proceeds by releasing a certification photo taken with the campaign's representative image, which symbolizes a maze with no exit, and then nominating the next participant. CEO Sung was recommended last week by Lee Woo-jin, Chairman of the Ilju Academic and Cultural Foundation of Taekwang Group.

CEO Sung participated in the campaign with employees at Taekwang Industrial's headquarters in Jangchung-dong, Seoul, taking time to raise awareness about the dangers of drug addiction and promote vigilance.

CEO Sung stated, “We plan to conduct prevention education and publicity at the company level to protect our society and youth from drugs,” adding, “We will contribute to creating a healthy and safe society for everyone.”

Meanwhile, since being appointed CEO of Taekwang Industrial earlier this year, Sung Hoe-yong has been engaging in various communications with executives and employees. Starting with the first in-house ESG management slogan award ceremony since the launch of Taekwang Group, followed by the inauguration of the 8th Taekwang Industrial Junior Board, and participation in the drug eradication campaign 'NO EXIT,' he continues his communication efforts.
