"Half-Price Hanwoo"… Emart's Family Month 'Super Sale' Underway

All Product Categories Including Fresh Food, Processed Food, Household Goods, and Home Appliances

Emart announced on the 30th that it will hold a "Super Sale" from the 1st to the 6th of next month to celebrate the Family Month holiday. Discounts include up to half price on Korean beef and 40% off pork, with comprehensive promotions across fresh and processed foods, household goods, and home appliances on different days.

First, from the 3rd to the 6th, Emart will host an "All-Family Meat Party." Korean beef sirloin grades 1+ and 1 will be sold at 50% off when Shinsegae Points are earned, priced at 6,690 KRW and 5,690 KRW per 100g respectively. All pork products, including pork belly, neck, front and hind legs, ribs, tenderloin, pork jowl, and skirt meat, will be sold at a 40% discount when paid with the event card.

Additionally, from the 1st to the 6th, customers earning Shinsegae Points can purchase Australian chilled tenderloin steak at 50% off for 3,940 KRW per 100g, Darling Down Wagyu assorted grill (pack, 900g) at 30% off for 39,900 KRW, and Jeju spring canola beef bulgogi (800g) with a 6,000 KRW discount for 10,980 KRW. Emart has significantly increased stock in consideration of the high popularity of Korean beef and pork belly during major events such as SSG Day and Landers Day. Approximately 35 tons of Korean beef sirloin and about 300 tons of pork have been prepared.

Eggs will also be sold at prices cheaper than wholesale. From the 3rd to the 6th, Alchan eggs (30-count, large) will be sold for 4,980 KRW. The total stock prepared for this event reaches 300,000 trays. According to the Livestock Products Quality Evaluation Institute's Livestock Distribution Information, as of the 29th, the wholesale price for eggs (30-count, large) is 5,230 KRW, making the event price even lower than the wholesale price.

In addition, various items will be offered at shock prices, with half-price discounts on all products, mix-and-match deals, and limited quantity special chances. For example, from the 3rd to the 9th, chilled Andong salted mackerel (pack, 2 fish) 400g and 800g will be sold at 50% off when purchasing two or more. All rockfish sashimi products sold from the 1st to the 6th will be discounted by 30% when earning Shinsegae Points.

For large home appliances, including Samsung and LG refrigerators, air conditioners, WashTower, and vacuum cleaners, customers will receive discounts as well as Shinsegae gift certificates up to 1.25 million KRW depending on the purchase amount.

About 100 products will be available with half-price deals such as "Buy One Get One Free" and "50% off when purchasing two or more." Emart's marketing manager Choi Jin-il said, "As the high inflation trend continues, increasing the financial burden on households, Emart is holding the 'Super Sale,' a spectacular event that will be a great help to customers." He added, "We hope this event during the first holiday period in May will help more customers enjoy a happy Family Month holiday."
